PERLA NEGRA
Magda Zabala, Orgel Rojel & Family / Chocó Andino, Nanegal, ECUADOR
Born at Finca Perla Negra, Meridiano Andino is a new Ecuadorian coffee variety with Landrace and Typica Mejorado roots. It comes from the same farm where Sidra and Typica Mejorado were born, and carries the story of a family coffee project shaped by curiosity, community, and a deep relationship with the land.
For TUYO, this first European release speaks to what regenerative futures can taste like: relationships built from where our roots already are, rare varieties carried with care, producer knowledge made visible, and Ecuadorian coffee shared across territories. From Ecuador to Copenhagen, it brings together land, craft, roasting, artwork, and the quiet encounter between a coffee and the person who chooses it.
